My good friend, Destiny Rosulmé, and I led a workshop at on how students of color can better connect with Black Wellness. Destiny hosted a guided meditation, and we led discussion activities on different understandings of wellness and barriers to Black Wellness that marginalized communities face.
The CHAS Conference, or Consortium on High Achievement and Success, is an annual gathering of college students of color that offers safe, supportive spaces for honest and constructive discussion on the unique challenges and issues they may encounter as underrepresented students in predominantly white institutions.
