Black Hair, Spirituality, and Biopolitics

For my Fall 2022 Black Women, Spirituality, and Religion class, I chose to write on the impact of Black hair on spirituality for Black non-men. In a hostile, anti-black world, hair care becomes a site of spiritual rejuvenation, safe haven, and survival method for Black women.
